Try out three different woodcarving styles in this small group, full day practical from woodcarver John Carlson
In this 8-hour-exploratory class you'll experience and learn about three different styles of Woodcarving: Chip Carving, Relief Carving, and Carving 3-D objects. You'll get hands on experience with safe carving techniques, the tools used for each style, and basic sharpening.
All tools will be provided for use during class.
Youth ages 10 and up are welcome, accompanied by an adult.
Maximum class size 6 students
We'll have short breaks and a half-hour lunch break, so please bring snacks, beverages, and a lunch. Refrigerator and microwave available.
